Wetherby Roofing Scaffold and Rubbish Chute Project
This row of residential properties in Wetherby required a large access scaffold so roofing contractors could complete work safely across the full roofline.
Sky High Scaffolding erected a continuous scaffold along the properties, with fully boarded working platforms positioned at eaves level. This gave the roofers safe and practical access across each section of the roof while providing enough space for materials, tools and waste removal.
A fully enclosed rubbish chute was also installed from the working platform directly into the skip below. This allowed old roofing materials and debris to be removed in a controlled manner without carrying waste through the properties or dropping it from height.
The scaffold included secure ladder access, guardrails, toe boards, debris netting and structural bracing throughout. Careful planning was required to provide access across the entire terrace while keeping entrances and the surrounding communal areas accessible.
