Harrogate Conservatory Bridging Scaffold for Roofing Works
This residential property in Harrogate required specialist scaffolding to provide roofers with safe access to the rear roofline above an existing conservatory.
Because the conservatory covered part of the working area, a standard scaffold could not be erected directly in front of the property. Sky High Scaffolding designed and installed a bridged scaffold that safely spanned over the conservatory without placing weight onto its roof.
A fully boarded working platform was created at eaves level, providing the roofing contractors with stable access across the rear elevation. The scaffold was supported from suitable ground positions around the conservatory and included additional beams, bracing and guardrails to create a secure working structure.
Careful planning was required to work around the conservatory, adjoining extension, windows and garden area while maintaining practical access around the property. The completed setup allowed the roofers to carry out their work safely without risking damage to the conservatory below.
