Harrogate Roofing Scaffold and Rubbish Chute Installation
This residential property in Harrogate required safe access to the upper roof area so roofing repairs could be completed efficiently.
The rear elevation included a lower single-storey extension, which meant a standard scaffold arrangement would not provide suitable access. Sky High Scaffolding designed and erected a bridged scaffold structure that spanned above the extension and created a secure working platform along the main roofline.
A rubbish chute was also installed from the working platform down to ground level. This allowed the roofers to remove old roofing materials and waste safely without carrying debris through the property or dropping it from height.
The scaffold was carefully positioned around the existing building, doors, windows and guttering while maintaining practical access around the property. Secure boarding, guardrails, structural bracing and ladder access were incorporated to provide the roofing team with a stable and convenient working area.

The completed scaffold gave the roofing contractors safe and unrestricted access to the main roof while protecting the lower extension below.
