Who handles your enquiry
ERS SCAFFOLDING SERVICES LTD, trading as Sky High Scaffolding, is responsible for the personal information described in this notice and acts as its data controller. We receive enquiries at sales@skyhighscaffoldingyorkshire.co.uk. Contact us at this address with any privacy question, or write to Sky High Scaffolding, Royal House, 110 Station Parade, Harrogate HG1 1EP. This notice covers scaffolding enquiries and the related customer correspondence.
What you provide
The quotation form asks for your name, telephone number, email address, property postcode and project description. You can also provide the purpose, timing, elevations, approximate storeys and hire duration. Please avoid including sensitive personal information that is not needed for the quotation.
How the information is used
We use enquiry details to discuss access requirements, prepare a quotation and contact you about the proposed work. Sky High quotes and invoices customers directly. Independent scaffolding subcontractors undertake erection and dismantling; relevant contact and project information may be shared with them when assessing or arranging the work. Submitting an enquiry does not sign you up to marketing.
Why we process the information
We process information to take steps at your request before entering a contract and to administer work you book. We also have a legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, keeping appropriate correspondence and protecting our website against spam and misuse. Applicable legal obligations may require us to retain relevant accounting or business records.
Email and security providers
Resend processes website enquiry emails for our sales inbox, and Microsoft 365 provides the business email service. Your validated email address is used as Reply-To so we can respond directly. Cloudflare hosts the website and provides Turnstile security checks. These providers process the information needed to deliver their services, including technical connection and security information.
The form application does not maintain an enquiry database or write enquiry contents to its logs. Short-lived abuse-prevention counters use hashed identifiers rather than raw email addresses or IP addresses. Enquiry emails and subsequent correspondence are held in the email services used to handle your request.
How long information is kept
We generally delete unsuccessful enquiries when the customer does not proceed. Deletion is handled manually; there is no fixed deadline or automatic deletion schedule. Completed-job correspondence is retained as necessary for contractual, accounting, warranty and dispute-related purposes, taking account of the work, ongoing matters and applicable obligations.
Provider processing and locations
Our technology providers operate internationally, so processing may take place outside the UK. Their published privacy and data-processing information explains their services and safeguards: Resend privacy information, Resend data-processing terms, Microsoft privacy information and Cloudflare Turnstile privacy information. Contact us if you need further details about the handling of your enquiry.
Your privacy rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access or correct your personal information, request deletion or restriction, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or request a portable copy of information where that right applies. Some records may need to be retained to meet contractual or legal requirements. Contact sales@skyhighscaffoldingyorkshire.co.uk to exercise your rights or raise a concern. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
